Does Barnum design custom gates?

Yes, we design and fabricate both residential and commercial gates and supporting structures. No matter where your imagination takes you, we make it happen. Learn more about our custom gate design services.

Does Barnum also do fencing?

We do minor fence repairs and provide short sections of fencing that are connected to the gate. However, we do not do large fence installation projects.

Does Barnum offer emergency service?

Yes, we offer 24 hr emergency service, 365 days of the year. We also offer Priority 1 emergency service for security sensitive commercial, industrial and government sites that require immediate attention. Learn more about our emergency service options.

Do you offer emergency service?

Another company installed or serviced my gate system but cannot make it work reliably. Can you fix it?

Do you offer field welding to repair my broken gate?

Yes, in most cases, we can repair gates made of steel, aluminum or stainless. Submit a service request online for more information.

Troubleshooting

My gate is stuck open; how can I close it?
  • Check for blocked Photo-Eye or physical obstructions, like piled-up snow.

  • Check for any possible latch codes being used to hold the gate open.

  • If nothing else works to close the gate, turn the power off, manually disconnect the gate from the operator and pull the gate closed.

My gate is stuck closed; how can I open it?
